Description
April 18th marks the first Poetry on the Beach. This event features poets from Corpus Christi, McAllen, San Antonio, and Austin. 2020 Texas Poet Laureate Emmy Perez will be a featured poet. The day begins with a sunrise reading by Rockport poet Rebecah Hall at 7 a.m. in front of the Beachfront Pavilion. The rest of the day’s events will take place in the Beachfront Pavilion. Sunrise Poetry Reading with Rebecca Hall– 7 am Bring your own blanket or chair.
