DESCRIPTION:April 18th marks the first Poetry on the Beach. This event features poets from Corpus Christi\, McAllen\, San Antonio\, and Austin. 2020 Texas Poet Laureate Emmy Perez will be a featured poet. The day begins with a sunrise reading by Rockport poet Rebecah Hall at 7 a.m. in front of the Beachfront Pavilion. The rest of the day's events will take place in the Beachfront Pavilion.
