Description
Join us at the Texas Maritime Museum for our annual Winter Lecture Series every Monday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. This free program is one of our most popular adult programs and offers twelve weeks of engaging and informative presentations by distinguished professionals in their respective fields. Complimentary refreshments will be available. Mr. Moloney is one of the owners and a founder of Energy Gas Compression, a Corpus Christ-based company. Jim came to South Texas in 1981. Besides the gas compression field, he spent several years heading up the Coastal Bend Community Foundation. He became interested in collecting postcards and other articles of interest in Texas, specializing in Aransas, Kenedy, Kleberg, San Patricio, and our own Nueces country. His collection numbers over 6,800 cards, and he’s always looking for more. He has coauthored, edited, and/or published 18 books on South Texas history with recently deceased Murphy Givens and others. He regularly contributes to a weekly segment on South Texas history on Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m. on FM 94.7, a local talk radio station, with Blake Farenthold.
