Walk to Support Law Enforcement
Residents are invited to show their support for the men and women of local law enforcement agencies by participating in a special event on October 24. Sponsored by the South Texas Police Wives Association, the event will kick off at 5 p.m. at the Rockport-Fulton High School Stadium on Omohundro. The organizers and participants will walk a mile along the stadium track. Concessions, family friendly activities and informational booths will be available during the event. Everyone is encouraged to wear blue or black, make signs and wave flags. "The event will take place rain or shine as law enforcement never takes a day off"
