Sunday Afternoon Programs
Two unique programs to accompany the exhibit, Unsung Heroines, will be presented in July. At the History Center on July 24 two local favorites, D.J. Chilcoat and Sharron Flood, will entertain and educate with a dialogue saying: "Thank You, Suffragettes." Chilcoat and Flood who serve as Fulton Mansion docents take on the roles to illustrate the national campaign to gain the voting rights for women. The campaign resulted in the Twentieth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which was ratified be Texas in 1920.
