Description

Marine Life: Class will provide a comprehensive view of a variety of marine creatures in our local waters. Hands-on opportunities for examination of select species will develop an understanding of different adaptations to marine habitat.
Kayaks & Critters: Class will emphasize learning proper kayak skills from a certified instructor. Course to include entering/exiting and paddling techniques all with an emphasis on safety. Observe & learn about the many critters that live in and around the bay.
Wonders of Water: Class will demonstrate ways the oceans are used to benefit man - in addition to providing seafood. Activities will demonstrate water pressure, principles of submarine operation, and barge transportation compared with overland transportation.

Classes will include STEM (science, technology, engineer, math) educational components.
