DESCRIPTION:U.S. Census Bureau covering 11 counties in the Coastal Bend.\n\n \n\nThe purpose of our Community Partnership and Engagement Program is to:\n\n\n \n Enroll community partners to increase participation in the 2020 Census of those who are less likely to respond or are often missed\n \n \n Educate people about the 2020 Census\n \n \n Encourage community partners to motivate people to self-respond\n \n \n Engage grass root organizations to reach out to hard to count groups and those who are not motivated to respond to the national campaign\n \n\n\nWe would like to be able to partner with your organization in one or more fronts in order to help with the upcoming 2020 Decennial.\n\n \n\nThe goal is to Count Everyone Once\, Only Once and in the Right Place. The impact of counting accurately affects directly federal funding for Social Services\, Education and so many other organizations.\n\nIn this meeting\, we will discuss how the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce will assist with the following:\n\n\n \n Reach out to Low Response areas by the creation of a Complete Count Committee (CCC)\n \n \n Promote Census Jobs\n \n \n Provide Space for pre-screening of applicants\n \n \n Provide testing/training space\n \n \n Promote the upcoming Decennial 2020 Census through your organization's Social Media and Website\n \n \n Provide opportunity for Informative Presentations\n \n\n\nBlanca S.
