DESCRIPTION:"Music Friendly Community"\n \n\nParticipation in the Texas Music Office's "Music Friendly Community" program provides Texas communities with a network for fostering music industry development\, and sends a clear message to industry professionals that certified communities are serious about attracting and developing music industry growth.\n \n\nThe Music Friendly Community program is meant to help cities and communities in Texas to become part of a network for music industry development.\n \n\nThe Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center in coordination with the City of Rockport\, Town of Fulton\, and the Texas Music Office are co-hosting the Music Friendly Community Workshop in Rockport for people interested in learning about the state's new Music Friendly Community designation program. All Rockport-Fulton musicians\, artists\, songwriters\, venue managers\, elected officials or interested residents and business owners are encouraged to attend. Rockport and Fulton are on the forefront of showcasing live music performances and welcome the opportunity of being a Music Friendly Community."\n \n\nA community workshop is part of the process to secure the Texas Friendly designation certification. The Rockport-Fulton workshop will feature Chip Adams\, Community Relations & Outreach Specialist of the Texas Music Office in the Governor's Economic Development and Tourism Division.
