DESCRIPTION:Leadership Aransas County (LAC) Alumni Association will host a Candidates Panel & Issues Forum for the contested races upcoming City of Rockport General Election.\n\n \n\nThe event will open with welcome and introductions. \n\nA panel presentation will follow highlighting three community issues:\n\n1. Saving Little Bay\n\n2. Communications in a Disaster\n\n3. Construction Update\n\n\n\nA celebrity moderator will then introduce the candidates in the contested races for Ward 1 and Ward 3 of the City of Rockport May 1 Election.\n\n\n\nEach candidate will be given an opportunity for a 3-minute opening statement.\n\n\n\nThe audience will submit questions written to a specific candidate. After review\, the questions will be read aloud by the Emcee.
